The trajectory of global education is CHANGING. During this SPECIAL event, you will not only get to SEE and CELEBRATE the uniquely POWERFUL IMPACT Valor has made in the global academic community, but you will get to be a part of a great COMMUNITY of people who GIVE ABUNDANTLY!
One2One is our global initiative that provides education to students at all of our campuses in the Philippians, Haiti, Kenya and our local campus in Portland, Oregon. Our annual Valor Dinner Gala is our yearly fundraiser to raise funds for children who do not have the opportunity for quality education. For each family that enroll in VCSI, a percentage of their tuition helps end the cycle of global education inequality. Over 72 million children around the world do not have access to education according to UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization). Each VCSI student is paired with a student in need of education in a developing community around the world. Our first educational partnerships are in the Philippines, Haiti and now Kenya. Through these partnerships, students at VCSI are connected to other students around the globe. This is an exciting way to model a generous spirit to our children and make a significant impact on the world around us.
SPEAKER: DOUG WOOD
Doug Wood is an entrepreneur who runs a multi-million dollar coaching business. Over the last nine years, he and his wife, Thea, have helped over 300,000 people transform their lives. They’ve dedicated their lives to helping average people (just like them) with above average desires to live and become their best selves.
They imagine a world where people live and express the riches within, rather than purely pursue the riches without. Doug’s authentic and relatable communication style creates instant connections with anyone who desires more for their life.
He is an in-demand speaker, author, and co-founder of Valor Global Online, which is an innovative school bringing synergy to students and their families worldwide. Doug is also a Health and Business Coach to many entrepreneurs.
Doug and Thea have also been called the “entrepreneur family”, because their three children, Amaya (14), Katelyn (11), and Phoenix (2) are also writing books, speaking, starting businesses of their own, and fully embracing their family’s legacy. Most importantly, the Wood family has chosen to live life differently, set apart from average. When they’re not traveling the world, they live in Scottsdale, Arizona, at their property, Breakthrough Acres.
